Template
A TEMPLATE is a document, presentation, or spreadsheet (depending on the application) provided by the application to provide basic formats, tools, and text. A TEMPLATE is the shell of a document and can be used as a base to start the selected type of document. The user finishes the document with specific and personalized information.
Templates can contain text, styles, macros, glossary items, menu assignments, key assignments, color schemes, etc., depending upon the Microsoft application being used.
NOTE: Templates can also be created by users.
